Frequently asked questions

WHEN IS THE 2022 WYNNUM FRINGE FESTIVAL?
Wynnum Fringe kicks off on Wednesday 16th November with a star-studded lineup of local, national and international acts across three weeks from 16 November – 4 December 2022.
HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

You’re warm, very warm. Tickets go on sale to the public on Tuesday August 2 from this website.

If you are a BAM (member) you will get early info about programming (ooh, special) so why not join our family? So many savings and benefits – and priceless heart-warmth knowing you’re supporting the arts in the Bayside! Click here to find out more.

DO YOU OFFER CONCESSION TICKETS?

Yes, but not to every show. If a show offers concession priced tickets, it will be stated in the show information – and these tickets will be available when you click on the Buy Tickets link, labeled General Admission I Concession (for example).

Wynnum Fringe considers a Concession valid if there is a student, pensioner or veteran ID available to be shown at the door.

ARE THERE ANY FREE EVENTS?
There will be many free events which our program will highlight shortly. Throughout the Fringe there will be live music, roving performers as well as food and drinks for sale at different times.

Please register below for our fortnightly news – and follow us on social media @wynnumfringe – so you won’t miss out on any breaking stories.

CAN I VOLUNTEER?

Firstly, you’re a legend.
Secondly, yes please fill out the Volunteer Application Form here.
We’re looking for people to assist with Front of House, Box Office, Technical Production and Bump-in and Bump-out. So much to do! We would love the help!

IS THE WYNNUM FRINGE GARDEN FREE?

Yes, entry to the Wynnum Fringe Garden is free – but tickets to performances inside the Garden need to be purchased from our website.

Why am I receiving the error "The Booking Code 'BAM0000000000' is exhausted"?
The error code is due to having the BAM discount code active in multiple carts. Unless you click ‘Cancel Reservation’, the ticketing system will believe you’re still using it elsewhere. Make sure you have clicked ‘Cancel Reservation’, refresh the Wynnum Fringe website on the device you want to use – and close the website on any other devices you have open. Try your purchase again, using the BAM code, and leaving a space between multiple codes. If you are still getting an error message, wait 12 minutes for the cart to expire or contact us at hello@wynnumfringe.com for assistance.
DO YOU ACCEPT COMPANION CARDS?

We accept companion cards. Please email hello@wynnumfringe.com to reserve a companion seat for your selected show.

ARE THE VENUES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, all venues are wheelchair accessible. You can purchase wheelchair accessible tickets to each show in our program, via each show’s ticket link. Please email hello@wynnumfringe.com if you have any questions – or see our Venues for more details on our major performance spaces.

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

All tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except in accordance with the applicable laws in the region of purchase. However, you can rename your e-ticket and pass it on to someone else if you can’t make it. For more information please see our purchasing policy page.

I’M FROM THE MEDIA AND HAVE A QUESTION.
For all media enquiries, please contact our publicist, Jai, via email at jai@aruga.com.au
AM I ABLE TO SWAP MY TICKETS BETWEEN WYNNUM FRINGE EVENTS?
We are unable to swap tickets between events. We do offer patrons the chance of re-purchasing the required tickets, and then refunding the existing order, less booking fees. The new order must be of equal or greater value than the existing order.
WHERE CAN I FIND PARKING?

There is street parking available all over Wynnum. You can also catch the train to Wynnum Central Station only a couple of blocks away, catch buses, scooters, wind surf or kayak. If you like.
