‘An Evening of Song with Those Folk’ is a constantly evolving concert with the introduction of new instruments, interesting anecdotes, and dynamic songs.
Those Folk are gifted songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who have been living and performing on the West Coast of America for the past 6 years, recently moving to the Sunshine Coast.
Breathtaking vocal harmonies are featured alongside rich instrumental work that is performed on guitars, accordion, mandolin & banjo.
Active in the Queensland music scene over the last year, Those Folk have quickly gained a dedicated following. 2022 has seen the husband-and-wife duo perform a featured concert at the prestigious Brisbane City Hall as well as gigs at festivals such as the Gympie Muster and Caloundra Music Festival.
Those Folk will be performing at the Wynnum Fringe Festival for the second time on 3 December, 2022 and the duo look forward to returning with new tunes and tales.
Featuring Lawrence Menard and Clare Quinn.

“I think most music lovers will be able to find appreciation in their music and if you’re looking for a show that isn’t overbearing but more relaxing, a show where you can sit back, enjoy a glass of wine, and listen to a duo that are devoted to their craft with deeply rich songs on display then this is the perfect show for you.” – Jaydem Martin, Nothing Ever Happens in Brisbane
