30 Years Younger is an emerging band who draws on a wide and eclectic range of musical genre;
covering rock, pop, country, jazz, folk and quirky alternative styles, ranging from the Swing era right through to the contemporary music of today. Being an all family group, their sound is full of rich and beautifully blended vocals with tight harmony that satisfies the musical soul. Backed by guitars, keys, bass and the unique sounds of the cajon, 30 Years Younger provides a truly entertaining, immersive and unforgettable musical experience.

Ruby Phoenix Fusion Belly Dancers bring an eclectic mix of music and dance styles to the stage.

SAT 2nd • Each Ukulele Players • 11:45am

The Each Ukulele players are a community Ukulele group who meet at Each week to learn and practice their skills. They have played at the Wynnum Fringe in 2021 before and would like to have the opportunity to perform again at this years Wynnum Fringe.

Sat 2nd • Mates Rates • 12:15pm

Pete Smith – Baritone, Lead
Pete started in the music industry in 1970, as drummer and backing vocalist for some of Australia’s finest artists.  Pete was a member of several well-known show bands and had a long and successful solo career as a singer/guitarist.

Dave Mason – Bass
Dave’s love of music and harmony singing led him to form Mates Rates with Pete.  Dave has been singing since childhood and is also an accomplished piano player.  Dave’s deep mellow bass voice is the rock on which Mates Rates build their harmonies.

Neil Eldridge – Lead ,Tenor
Neil’s background is in barbershop singing, his interpretation and understanding of song lyrics is well known in barbershop circles.  Neil’s high tenor voice is the cream on top of our vocal cake.

Russ Thomas – Lead ,Tenor
Russ has been a member of many successful quartets and choruses in Queensland.  He has appeared in several amateur theatre productions and plays piano.  Russ is the group’s resident comedian.

Mates Rates allows Pete, Dave, Neil and Russ to pursue their favourite style of music.  – vocal harmony.

Sam is an 11-year old local who attends school in Manly. Sam loves to sing and perform to well known songs, and Sam’s stage presence at such a tender age will leave the crowd wowed by his confidence at such a young age.

You really couldn’t ask for a better ‘official’ start. Gaining industry recognition with not one, not two, but THREE songs making the 2015 National Songwriting Awards Top 30 (A prestigious award receiving up to 3000 entries per category) Kate’s debut EP, released in October 2015, has been eagerly embraced by fans with a literally overflowing full house at the launch party held at Brisbane’s iconic live music venue The Milk Factory.

Adding another feather to this spirited singers musical cap is the nation wide support and distribution of her five track folk-pop EP, you can tune into community radio stations from Byron to Broome and everywhere in between, and you’ll hear Kate’s angelic pipes gracing the airwaves.

Bayside Dance offers a range of dance classes and creative experiences in the Wynnum/Manly area, Brisbane. We encourage a widespread love of dance, welcoming children and adults who can’t help but feel the rhythm! Established in 2014, we aim to create a positive, welcoming environment which is encouraging for all.

Being part of a choir is lot of fun! Not only do you get to share a love of music with each other, but you can work on social skills, communication, leadership, self esteem, and friendship. This is all done through singing, song sharing, songwriting, dance movement and many more creative activities!

SAT 2nd • The Rising Phoenix Tribal Belly Dancers • 2:30Pm

The Rising Phoenix Tribal Belly Dancers are a School & Performance Troupe focused on developing a positive culture of Tribal sisterhood in dance and community performance in and around the Redlands for the last 5 years Women from all ages and walks of life have come together for fun, fitness, friendship and the pure joy of dancing together as a Tribe, with so many
styles fused together inspired by Celtic/Viking, Spanish/Flamenco & Bollywood, we are learning a beautiful craft that takes time, patience and practice to perfect.

We have created our own Tribal style and look, with our own choreographies and handmade costuming. We enjoy performing a wide variety of belly dance fusion styles, we add colour and vitality to any event, passionately and joyfully taking our dances out into our community to share.

We are available as a Troupe for all occasions – Community Events, Festivals, Weddings, Retirement Villages, Garden Parties, Birthdays, Openings and Celebrations. RCU (Redlands Coast Ukes) are a dynamic covers band with a repertoire that is varied and popular, incorporating great lead vocals and harmonies. Their range of instruments include all size ukes, cajon, congas and percussion. They have performed at many events and festivals such as Redfest, Wynnum Fringe, Newcastle Newkulele, Brisbane Spruke, Sunshine Coast Festival, Folk Redlands Ukulele Festival, Binary Swing Time, Redlands Ukulele Festival, Manly Halloween Street Festival, Celebration of Volunteers, Redlands Christmas Celebration, Stradbroke Coochiemudlo and Macleay Island events.
