BIGGER, BETTER, BOLDER
Brisbane’s home of Fringe returns for its biggest party yet! Announcing three weeks of big-name artists, legendary ambassadors and spectacular performances, solidifying the bayside suburb as a global arts destination for locals and travelers.
Hundreds of interstate and Queensland artists and entertainers will converge on Australia’s latest and greatest performing arts hub from 16 November to 4 December 2022 for the biggest moment in Brisbane Bayside history.
Wynnum Fringe celebrates the best in contemporary, independent and alternative arts and entertainment and is expected to attract more than 35,000 people over the 19-day event this November.
The three-week arts, entertainment and cultural extravaganza spans a dazzling array of performance genres including music, dance, comedy, theatre, cabaret and circus. Mix that in with some glorious local restaurants and you’ve got yourself a perfect end to the year. Book now before it’s too late!
Wynnum Fringe acknowledges that it gathers on sacred Country – ‘Quandamooka Country’ and respects the First Nation people’s spiritual and cultural connection with their land, sea, sky and country.

“I am so excited to be finally making it to Brisbane and to the Raine & Horne Wynnum Spiegeltent! The Spiegeltent is the natural home of Velvet Rewired – how lucky are we to have the first dates of our new tour at the exciting Wynnum Fringe. I look forward to renewing old friendships, setting the Spiegeltent alight with our discotheque extravaganza and sharing the odd hot chip with my old friend and producer, Tom Oliver. See you in November! Much love, Marcia.”
Vicki Wilson OAM
“I am thrilled to be an ambassador for Wynnum Fringe – so happy to spread the word about this great arts festival that Tom Oliver and team have put together for Wynnum. I’m so happy to be part of this for the betterment of my local community!”
Loretta Ryan & Craig Zonca ABC Brisbane
“Wynnum Fringe uncovers some great local talent and gives them a platform to perform and that also inspires other artists. It attracts new people to the area and adds life and colour to the whole suburb. There’s excitement in the air when Wynnum Fringe is on, it encourages people to get out and enjoy themselves.
We’ve watched Tom Oliver grow this event from its inception and it is such a credit to him. We’re so honoured to be ambassadors. We’re looking forward to rocking with the bay!”
In one almighty dance battle, suburban gladiators from Wynnum and Manly will compete in a storm of sequins, sweat and spandex to prove – once and for all – which team is best.
**And if you don’t live in Wynnum or Manly, pick a side…we suggest Lota sides with Manly and Hemmant/Lindum sides with Wynnum…but it’s serious business so we’ll let you decide.**
Final showdown in the Raine & Horne Wynnum Spiegeltent, Saturday 3 December.
